FAQ

WHAT VACCINES ARE REQUIRED?

For any service, dogs must be current on Rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough) at least 48 hours before the time of service and preferably 2 weeks before.

WHAT DOES RAISE YOUR PAWS SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

We provide everything but food and medication. Please bring enough food for your dog.  If your dog is on medication please make sure you bring enough for their entire stay in the original bottle.

If food is forgotten or runs out, we do have food available for $5 a day.

WHAT DOES THE OWNER SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

Any medications and the way they are given, with directions on how much and when they are given.
Your pets own food, enough for their stay, so they do not develop an upset stomach from food changes.
If your pup has a special blanket or toy that they need, please bring it.

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY PET DURING THEIR STAY?

You can call or message us about your pet.  We will post pictures on our facebook page and on pawpartner which is the software that we use.

MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?

Yes.  While your dog is boarding, you will bring your dogs own food.  If your pet has a food allergy, please let us know in case treats are used during the day.

WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH DAYCARE

Each dog must have a background information packet filled out by the owner.  This gives the staff information on who to pair or not to pair your dog with. Staff will supervise a group of 10 to 15 dogs per staff member, or smaller if needed.  The groups are never left alone and there are cameras throughout the building.
An evaluation must also be done for each dog to assess their play styles and if they would enjoy playing in a group.
Daycare is not for socializing older dogs if they have not had any prior experience with off leash play, or other dogs.
Daycare dogs are paired with other dogs of similar play style and energy to best manage the safety of all dogs.  They are rotated in groups and get some needed rest throughout the day.

DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED TO ATTEND DAYCARE OR BOARDING?

For daycare, dogs must be spayed or neutered after 1yr of age with exceptions for giant breeds, dogs with contracts from a breeder, or show dogs in order to be in groups.  We do allow intact dogs as solo or family play dogs.  Females that are in heat cannot be in the building for a month starting at the first sign of bleeding.
For boarding we except intact dogs, but the rules for daycare apply.
For grooming and training, all dogs are accepted regardless of status.
